Good morning Tuesday people

A quiet day in football. Hibs fans spent most of yesterday wondering if their manager was going to get binned only to get a bland statement from the Board in the early evening saying that everyone is trying hard. Here come the Black Knights.

Naturally the Black Knights have their own patented algorithm machine which Hibs seem to have had access to but haven’t switched on yet. Is it as good as Tony Bloom’s? We’ll have to wait and see.

In England there’s a bit of a furore after ref David Coote was caught on an old video clip slagging off Liverpool. Refs have to declare what team they support which I don’t believe happens here. I might draw something on this tomorrow.

Ruben Amorim arrived to take over at Man Utd. First order of business was to meet his bosses who dress in blazers and denims and to dismiss Ruud van Nistelrooy.

There are is a lot of noise about people jumping from Twitter to BlueSky in light of the US Election result, lifting of the block function, it being Elon’s hellscape and all that.

I consider myself to have already jumped from Twitter - to here. This is where I want to build the Fitbatweets community. There are over 2,000 here compared to 45k on Twitter but hopefully more will make the leap. I only use Twitter now for promotion of this newsletter and to encourage followers to come here and my shop and to keep up to date with football news because like it or not that’s still where it’s at. But I try to keep tweeting to a minimum (sometimes unsuccessfully but I’m getting better) and I don’t post anything there that wasn’t here first. I’m going to do the same with BlueSky so you can follow me there if you like but you’re already at the Golden Source for stick figure cartoons!
