One day in the football abyss

Hello Wednesday

It’s the last day of my Shudder subscription so I’ve got an average horror movie running in the background as I draw and write today.

Today is that one day following an international break where there’s not much left to say about that but also we’re not quite into the cycle of the upcoming club games yet. Still, we make do.

Results didn’t go Scotland’s way last night in regards to the next World Cup draw.

Having said that I don’t think there’s a nation in Pot 2 that we couldn’t beat when we play to form.

There was a tiny bit of club news - Rangers have given Nils Koppen a promotion.

Celtic Women are away to Chelsea tonight in the Champions League. I’ve got a feeling this is going to be a (Stamford) Bridge too far and they might be on the end of a doing.

In other sports news, Rafa Nadal retired last night after Spain got beat in the Davis Cup. Maybe he’ll have time to sort his hair out now.

As I was drawing The Stickler this morning these guys came into my head. I don’t know why. Maybe it’s because they’re getting so small or because they’re all good in a sandwich and I’m hungry. What’s your favourite?
