The SPFL picks on the wee guy and more….

It’s Wednesday. On an international week. Ugh.

There’s always something going on to pique my interest thankfully.

The SPFL dropped a six point deduction on League Two Bonnyrigg Rose for having a wee slope on their pitch.

All this while all kinds of shenanigans go on with the bigger clubs - chanting, pyro, missiles. Nothing happens. But the wee guys have a pitch boo boo and the book is thrown at them. Seems about right for the SPFL doesn’t it.

You’ll no doubt have seen in the news about the referee and the Liverpool comments. In England the referees have to declare which team they support and they are kept away from fixtures involving those teams. There’s no such rule in Scotland that I’m aware of so The Stickler did a bit of investigating and captured footage of a bunch of Scottish referees declaring their allegiances. The results may shock you…..

Back to the games at hand. Ahead of Friday’s showdown with Croatia, there’s been a couple of call offs in the squad. Thankfully Steve has been able to call on Stuart Armstrong of Vancouver Fucking Whitecaps to fill the void. Back to the Future.

Tonight it’s the Women’s Champions League and Celtic are taking on Chelsea at the big stadium. A nice return for Erin Cuthbert. This one is live on TNT Sports.
